Two days ago I was on the subway here in Paris and a girl was next to me waiting for the subway. Then, something about her called my attention, no it was not her clothing style, haircut or anything else about her persona but the package she was carrying. I know it, I am weird and I accept it :D. This packaging was a paper pyramid conceived to carry a flower bouquet. Isn't it cute and useful?
The design geek in me was so happy to discover it, but I refrained myself to ask her to take a photo of her little marvel, instead I memorized the name of the flower shop and searched on the internet to share it with you.
Bergamotte is a flower delivering service and as you can see they do not use the traditional plastic wrap, instead they use recycled cardboard, shaped like a pyramid to carry the bouquets. Simply great, eco-friendly and practical. Goodbye to the fear of breaking the flowers while carrying them!
But this marvel has something more in store for us, the cherry on the cake. The guys who designed it just thought even beyond and added a string. The silliest but greatest thing of this packaging, thanks to that you can carry your bouquet like a bag hanging it on your shoulder. Making life simpler when you need to move around in a fast-paced city like Paris, with sooo looong trajects to whenever you go.
Really the guys who did it, thanks! Bottoms up for those days where you felt like a tight rope walker, juggling around not to break the flowers you bought for your mother...may they never come back!
